css positioning

i'm trying to position a flash element on screen so that it'll be centered no matter what browser, resolution, or computer you are using.

how?

positioning w/ css helps but doesn't solve the problem because since i can only define the attributes in non-percentage terms, it won't keep the element center at diff resolutions.

help me pleassseeeee
