ap div alignment problem

hello i created a personal website using dreamweaver. when test the page on safari, firefox and opera, everything looks ok, but when i test it on internet explorer navigation menu moves to up. i really appreciate you help. if you have time to help me.

Absolute positioning is fools gold. It looks good at first, but when you scratch beneath the surface, you find out it's no good. You are finding that out now in your cross browser testing.

If you use the wysiwyg of DW then you're gonna have that problem. Like Shiro said above, it's warm and fuzzy, till you try to take it out of the box, then it's got more teeth than you thought it did.

Go with relative positioning, it'll help you more in the long run.
