CSS resources

Hey ALL!

Looking through some your work lately has pointed out that my apparant knowledge of CSS isn't as complete as I thought. So I'm after some really great CSS resources like books, sites and whatever media it may come it.

i'm going to beat a dead horse here, but as always i think the best way to learn (esp. html and css) is to hack through someone else's code. i'm completely self-taught - not that i have much to show for it - through precious few books but a lot of "view source".

so just try wading through some else's stylesheet. and if they don't have the code right there in the course, but rather have a link to a .css file, just copy and paste the file name (mycss.css) and add it to the end of the address in your browser.

have fun!

Stumbled accros this recently - CSS Vault. Have to agree about viewing others stylesheets. That's how I learned most of the stuff I know about CSS.

(Weird, I've been reading this forum since its inception, and I think this is my first ever post! First time for everything I suppose!)

I'm not sure I agree with the teaching thing - I think a better teacher would be a book or someone else's stylesheet, still. I will agree that TopStyle is a great program and I will concede that it undoubtedly reinforces what you learn, but I personally wouldn't rely on it as a teacher.

My two cents...
