hey guys....

ok i need a hack for safari..i have a box that i have set the margin to

Code:

.playervideo {
	width: 329px;
	float:right;
	background-color: #FFFFFF;
	margin-top: -20px;
	margin-right: 0px;
	margin-bottom: 0px;
	margin-left: 5px;
}

the above margin works perfect in all browsera apart from Safari 3.0 which is off when it comes to the margin settings...

any help or pointers ?

u can certainly use a safari hack:

CSS Hack:Getting Safari to behave | web design news and style

but I cant help but think that there must be something else thats causing the issue - Ive never had to use a hack to get safari to behave before?

i always thought safari behaved like firefox...naughty browsers...

Instead of doing it the long-winded way:

Code:

margin-top: -20px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: 5px;

Why not use CSS shortand:

Code:

margin: -20px 0 0 5px

Mmmmmm.
