Indeed. Think I'll wait until an entirely css solution is well enough supported before abandoning the use of clearing divs.

(Just spotted the headline and posted before reading it myself as I thought it might be worth reading.
I came to the same/above conclusion that evening whilst I enjoyed my milk and biscuits.)
