Php/asp
Hi, I forget to post here often but I know its the right place to look for help =] I know CSS and XHTML to a good enough level to sell, along with my photoshop designing. Is php or asp the next step for me? Because im only 17 im interested in gaming and have done alot of PS work on it and have done the odd one or two design, but I feel I could have a huge advantage on this if I knew more about php or asp. What would the best step to go? I dont have any clue about php or asp, the difference, advantages etc. The idea im looking for is for a CMS, so the people I sell too can add things to their site (for gaming things such as results matches bla bla) so im hoping this would be the correct step. Any feedback would be great as this would certainly look good for me when im over 18. Thanks. Tom. |

I would say PHP based on the fact that hosting is readily available. I'm sure you can get ASP hosting all over, as well, though. Overall though, I believe PHP has a bigger community and more freely available software to learn from and use in your projects. |
