Help with Website
I was hired to create a website for a Printing Company, but the owner wants the website to have a place where people can register and sign in with Username and Passwords.... I have created most of the Main Page.... How do i go about to create this username and password thing? It is just temporary posted at that site, so, can anyone help me to get this going? |

Who needs to be loggining in? Members of the company or clients of the company? This will help you determine the solution that is right for you. If it's simply going to be an extranet-type area for employees, there are a few ready-made solutions out there that may suit your needs (a recent add-on to Google Apps comes to mind). Clarify your original questions a bit more, and you will get better, definitive answers. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

If the site is on a server running php, your solution could be to use php to authenticate the users. You can easily find a php class to implement, but if you are not familiar with php then this will probably not be easy. I'm sure there is an ASP solution for windows servers, also. |
