Hi,
I need news feed (inc image) for a website which is linked to another site and will automatically update itself when the host site updates itself.

The most obvious option would be to use an RSS feed but am I right in thinking you require an RSS reader for that? This isnt practical as most visitors to the site wont have one.

Can someone point me in the right direction for what im looking for. Every search result just throws up RSS creators.

Most new browsers have RSS feedreading built in, and it's a widely adopted standard.

Most browsers now have RSS built in.
Saying that I don't know if IE6 does...

You want to call it in with php... I googled and found a couple like this: Free RSS to HTML PHP Script

Never done it myself.

It's easy as pie. LastRSS is an incredibly lightweight RSS parsing PHP class.
