CSS Classes (as in learning)

Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I'm a designer in San Diego, CA. I've noticed a lot of people are interested in CSS and there's few places that offer a real course on it.

I've been considering offering weekly classes, but I want to gauge the demand for such a course.

What do you all think?

Would you attend a XHTML/CSS course?
If it was free?
If there was a registration fee, say $500 for a 6 week course?

No, because I have about a billion websites, blogs, and books with good information right at hand. I mean, you could do it, but I doubt you'd be able to make any money doing it.

I have two billion and I live in a country so far in advance of your web design standards that you should get a ticket from Finnair right now.

There's not all that much to learn. I could probably go to a site like Wikibooks or some such and learn CSS. Besides, with stuff like rent and taxes, $500 is too much for a course on something as simple as CSS.

Similar answer to pgo. I wouldn't pay as there are so many resources online now or just go to your local library. You'd have to be a bit daft (or too lazy to learn yourself?) to fork out $500 for a 6 week course these days.

No.

I spent £3,000 and three years studying it and didn't learn a thing I hadn't already learned from £50 worth of books.

night classes might be the thing - all sorts of people sign up here (dublin) for night classes - 100€ a head 15 in a class over 6 or 10 weeks.
