Textfields are showing 1px gap in ie but showing properly in firefox
I am a professionaL web designer. While using textfield in forms it is showing a 1px gap betweeen two textfields when I am placing two textfields one after another. It is coming properly in firefox and opera means coming without any gaps, but ie6 and ie7 showing 1px gap. I have applied styles,padding:0; margin:0; even tried border:none but nothing worked ..... Can anybody suggest any solution????? |

Oh snarky! Hey, you can do the other thing. Instead of trying to make the text fields exactly next to each other, leave a 5 pixel gap between them. If it's 6 pixels on some crudsucking browser, it won't matter. There's certainly a hack for the problem but I believe in the "sod it" style of webpage creation. If something doesn't work exactly as intended but doesn't look like an obvious error, just leave it. When all browsers render code identically we'll be able to get the results we intend. |
