IE vs FF problems

as writen in the title i got some problems with my site between the 2 browsers.

-the menu is vertical aligned in the middle in IE (how it should be) but it isn't in FF, how do i solve this problem?

-try this one yourself. if you try to select a few words of the content text in IE you'll select everything, wich is very anoying. i don't have this problem in firefox. Can someone help me with this also?

Maybe if you posted a link to the site or the code for it we could see what you're problem is.
Your first clue - IE gets it WRONG 99% of the time with it's broken box model and numerous bugs !
