php client login system

Hi guys, i need some help.
I'm in the process of setting up a web design business (www.backspacedesigns.co.uk), and im trying to set up a client login system, which shows them the status of their design, and maybe some sort of payment system (optional at the moment) and account management.

Does anybody know of any scripts which i can modify, all i can find only allow access to a set of pages not personalised to the particular customer, im looking for freeware scripts really.

Please help this is driving me crazy, id like the solution to be coded in php and mySQL.

Reagards,
Chris

I needed this myself and had to have it coded as I dont think there is a script that will do this. You can try hotscripts.com for a sort of project management program.
What we ended up doing was using forum software for it and password protecting the forum for each client - it really was good, it allows you to upload relevant files for the client to view and they can leave comments etc and you have a full record of everything thats been said.

Ok, so does anyone know of a simple auth. script which will let users log into a common page, i have an idea how to make that content dynamic.
To login in i want to use Sessions and mySQL. Iv found several scripts but cant get them to work as i want. i need to beable to login in from a form on my index page, and then if sucessful redirect to say index.php?content=loggedin

I could do, but i want to use that as a last resort, id rather use sessions, because then i can change tehe content on the page, depending upon who si logged in
