yes you are correct i do know thanks.

use span but you could use another naming structure. depends what your italicisining

use h4 instead or something

Use as screen readers will take this as something you want to give emphasis to.

OK, if you're italicising (sp) something simply for presentation use , if you're italicising to give emphasis use .
