Cover Page Design Contest!
I am in the process of making a website, or forum rather.. but to begin, I need a cover page for my site.  I'm not very artistic, so here's my challenge! I need someone to create a .gif banner image that has some spiffy logo, simple, and says "chatrealm.org" in big letters.. The next part is, I need a catchy slogan that invites people to enter the website and express their thoughts! Its a social experiment I've written up over the last 2 years, but if I say any more then I risk giving away the premise and what not. After a year, I shall publish my findings.. I'm calling upon the clever folks here to help me conjure up a beginning. What say you? ps: simple, catchy, and classy please! Basically, I want a simple and classy/spiffy website home page. It'll just have the banner, catchy slogan, and an enter button. I'm broke, so I can't hand out prizes.. but any help is appreciated! Thank you~ Last edited by chatrealm : 11-01-2011 at 07:47. |

chatrealm - seems like you want someone to work for free on your site. Quite a lot of the poepl on here are professional designers and illustrators so excuse us if we seem a little harsh but you are probably only the 100,000,000 person to design them something for free. Usually designers like to get paid. That is how they afford to eat and therefore survive to design another day. |

Lmfao Pointandstare, that's hilarious. And a piece of advise to chatrealm, why won't you just look up a few tutorials over Photoshop, and never have to spend a dime on "simple, catchy, and classy please!" logos. Hope all goes well! |

I have a couple years of html and css under my belt, and about 8 years of photo-editing as well... I just didn't think I had the time to do it.. So I guess you could say I'm a web designer as well - but I gave up making sites for others because I don't have the patience to deal with people who don't know what they want.. xD People don't understand that they need to give you the content, to build the page around.. frustrating as hell...
