I've been using Textpattern for a couple of months now. (my site's using it and I've got it running locally for testing purposes) It is a bit of a culture shock if you've been using alternative CMS/blog software but once you're over the first couple of hurdles, it's really quite simple and straight-forward. The first thing I'd suggest is that you make the TXP Forum your second home, There are a lot of helpful people on there. I know there is some discussion on creating a wiki as regards documentation but nothing has been finalised as yet. In the meantime, it might be worth look over this site. There are links from there to other TXP articles including a tag manual and a well written piece on fromTextpattern's structure from Joel Dueck. HTH Andy |
