Website With CMS
Hi, I have a simple webiste. A mate want to add products to this site but I need to make it easier for him to use e.g. add new products, update pictures etc. I guess a CMS would help here, but i'm using a HTML/CSS based website. What's the easiest way of doing this? Thanks |

I dont see what your problem is. A CMS is just a system that allows to edit content, it has nothing to do with the html / css of your website. You can customize a CMS's templates to suit your needs. If you know a server side language, then you could code something simple if you dont need anything too fancy. |

it has everything to do with the html/css on the website. at least i would hope so. pick a cms and then learn to convert your current static site into a template. any decent cms is probably going to have myriads of tutorials available on how to do this. |

my post may not have been fully comprehensible. What I meant by it has nothing to do with the html/css is that even if you have an existing structure, doesnt mean you cant move to using a CMS for your website. It may be easier to start from scratch with a CMS, but you can easily incorporate a CMS into an existing structure. |
