making a web page in cs3?
Hi all i use to be able to make a simple web page with little rollovers and linking in PS and imageready, but now i got cs3 and i don't know what to do! I hear that now you have to start with PS->FW->FL->DW. Can anyone be kind enough to walk me through the entire thing with some details please. |

Shall I teach you physics with some details while I'm at it? Just to be nice, I'll even give you a detailed history of foreign immigration into Japan, and the nuances of how the civilization has adapted to deal with the outsiders. I'll make sure to do it with the details. |

Well what i wanted is more like, make the desing in PS and slice the layout and import that into imageready and do page linking (but in cs3 u do somthing else) and add falsh animation on parts and uplod in DW. I know a little but i just don't know how without imageready, no need to be an asshole! |

Everyone probably has their own method, but I personally do up a design in photoshop, then slice the sections that can't be reproduced with xhtml, and save them. From there I use a text editor (dreamweaver in your case) to code the website, using the images from photoshop, using placeholders for the flash. I add the flash last. |

That's not how professionals make websites. Why not learn the right way? |

not for a professional site. read pgo's thread. i find dreamweaver a very good tool for learning though. to an extent i still use the shabby design view - but the code view is where you want to be. as a code editor dreamweaver is as good as any imo. |
