Tooltip Pop-up | Please Help!!!

hey,

ok... what i'm trying to do is probably very simple to do...

in a simple html site, i have images, and i'd like to have a little pop-up textbox (with my color, size & font) follow my mouse pointer when i hover over each of the images..

can i do this directly in dreamweaver cs3?

thanks

You can do it in Notepad if you want. You'll need some JavaScript as well because IE6 doesn't support the hover pseudoclass on anything but anchors.

Hey Papito,

Sorry for so little info, I'm not allowed to post links yet so I can't.
Thing is there are so many ways to do it that I've never used the same one twice. I depends on your need for each site.

I really just google it each new site to find the code for it.

There are newer and better options each time.

Try Googling "css popups" or "css tooltips".
you can find a whole lot of ways to do it, with instructions and code.

Luck
