How do I upload my site?

I have started my own site and I have my domain. Now I wonder how do I get it out on the internet?

Ask your web hosting provider for help?

You do have web-hosting right?

you can just use dreamweaver's ftp tools if you're using that to build your site. bit sluggish and temperamental but it's what i use.

Dreamweaver FTP blows. CuteFTP and SmartFTP are both inferior to the mighty FileZilla

FileZilla works on all platforms...I use FireFTP...it's handy.

Uh... what's to "know"?

That's like saying "I don't use Notepad++ because I'm used to Notepad."

FileZilla is available for Mac, too. Transmit costs money, so I haven't bothered looking at it - don't use FTP at work, only use a Mac at work, so...no sense in paying for it.

Somebody had recommended fetch ftp, but I haven't looked into it. I personally use WS_FTP and haven't really had any need to try anything else as it works just fine.

I'll have to check out FileZilla

Hmmm, tried Fireftp and FileZilla. Can't say I'm a fan of using my internet browser for ftp transfers, so Firebug is out. FileZilla is pretty much like WS_ftp not sure which I like better yet though.

Well I am really liking FileZilla but the only thing is it doesn't stay logged in to a site for very long. I have edited the preferences to keep it logged in longer when idle but that doesn't seem to work very well =(

Meh. Sounds like a server problem to me. Of course, I don't log into my sites for more than a minute or two anyway.

My shared hosting account logs me out if I am idle for only a minute, I think it is to reduce load on the server.
