Dating Website

I'm in the process of creating an adult dating website to compete with adultfriendfinder.com. I have a syllabus of what my site will entail and page layouts on msword. I'm looking for a partner that is a webdesigner/programmer. Someone who can build the website, then help maintain, oversee changes & growing pains etc and in return share in profits. Like all dating websites this site is fairly complex so it will take someone with a lot of experience design wise and programming wise. The income potential is huge....I can provide pages of statistics of successful dating websites but here are a few: AFF is the highest rank dating website in the world (currently ranked 69 by Alexa). Match.com is a distance 2nd at 434. DesignersTalk.com is ranked 44,583....there are at least 69 dating websites that are ranked higher than DesignersTalk.com. Various Inc which owns AFF recently sold to Penthouse media group for 500 million. AFF alone exceeds 200 million in gross revenue. Match.com reported 89.1 million in gross revenue for the last quarter of 2007. As I mentioned the potential is enormous even at a fraction of these statistics. I know how to make the site grow overnight without spending any significant money on advertising....I believe this site will have over 2 million unique visitors in 18 months and be ranked in the top 1000 (overall world traffic ranking). And I think it has the potential to compete for the number 1 ranking.(dating site wise) If you are a programmer/webdesigner and want to discuss this further please contact me. I interested in bids to build my website as well but the ideal scenario would be to find a partner. If you read this and know someone who is a programmer/web designer that might be a good partner please forward my contact information. Thank you. Chris (connerme at oohay dot com)

Aww I was going to do that.

But then I realized someone else already did - Adult Friend Finder.

Just because someone already does something doesn't mean you shouldn't, the best sites aren't always the originals.

Hi Kristof

Apart from the word document of how your site will work, I need to know what else are you bringing to the table. It's not very difficult to quote impresive statistics of how much revenue the dating industry generates. This information is in the public domain and is readily available to anyone who takes an interest in business. AFF has managed to dominate the market through very clever marketing strategies which they have applied over a number of years. Any newcomer to the market will have to strongly compete or offer something different if they are to have any impact on the market. This is not me playing devils advocate I need to know how serious you are about a project of this scale. I am a director of a small web development company who specialise in building adult dating sites. If you are able to convince me you have a viable concept, I may have an interesting proposition for you.

I look forward to your reply.

The Don

I want a short blond person who loves to dust and clean and knows how to make decent sandwiches. The rest I can do and prefer to do myself. Sex irrelevant.
