textual layout ideas - line length, fonts, sizes
Hi, I am putting together a new website and the design and structure is nearly complete. What I wanted was a few ideas on the layout of the content, which is mainly textual. Things like what is a good line length to use, font styles and sizes. A good example I have seen is > http://www.itsmobile.com Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated, Cheers. |

Use css so you can easily control fonts, line-height, padding etc. For examples, try the clean or minimalist sections of places like http://www.misspato.com. I like velvetskies. Nice muppet top. |

Ta, that's a handy little site, i'll pop it into my favourites. I was wandering if there were any rules about line length. I hate it when lines of text are too long (or short), it makes them tricky ro read. I wish I still had that muppets top! |

Cool, that was just what I was after. I noticed this link which seem to talk more generally about line lengths > http://www.humanfactors.com/downloads/feb03.asp |
