I have been asked to design a website for the local newspaper.

She has asked my to incorperate her magazine on the website, and at the moment she adds the the magazine into the website by doing screen dumps and into photoshop and saving for website then saving as thumbnails and adding it to her website.

She uses pdf files to take the screen dumps from... is there a way I can link to the magazine, I am thinking I will just do links to the pdf file for the magazine, but im not sure she wants that.

If I've understood you correctly . . .yikes.

I would suggest that you find a good place to attract attention (sidebar,top, etc). and make a little banner with the magazine's logo that says,"Download the latest edition!" etc. and link to the PDF.

BTW is this magazine related to the newspaper? i.e. does the newspaper make this magazine as well?

Yeah, my clients husband runs the newspaper and she runs the magazine, on her current website she has every magazine uploaded until 28th september 2006, all just screen dumps then save for webs in photoshop. I am not sure whether she wants to continue to have every magazine but having just 1 magazine is what I think is best. That way when uploading the magazine I dont have to change links, it can just overide or something.
