EE templating system help needed

Hello,

I'd like to know what's best practice for organizing the templates / groups

I'll have templates like header, footer, searchbox, etc...

do you make a special template group for the templates that are not acually full html pages ? what name do you give to that group ?

do you make a default group named site for all the pages ?

In fact I'd love to see some screenshots of a real life site architecture made with EE, not a just a sanitytest...

what does it matter what name you give to a group? in the case of not-fully-html templates (ie header or footer or something) call it includes. pieces. chunks. snippets. whatever the hell you want.
