I would get rid of the personal information on the front page and fill it with more compelling material.

Yea soopafly, you're right. I'll remove it from there .

P.S. Also there will be a big collection of guitar tabs for guitar pro.

i may be off on my numbering schemes but usually betas are <1.0 as 1 would be the first full release.

on the articles page, at the end of each article snippet, i'd put a "more" link to go to the full article. maybe increase the space between each article also. it kinda looks like one long post with subheadings.

your Valid XHTML & CSS. links don't work. atleast not from the articles page.

i agree with adras about the front page. put it as articles, move the google ads to the bottom, maybe make some sort of intro text so the users know what they are looking at and at an "About" section with all the stuff about you. right now, once you leave the front page, there's no way back to it. you don't have any sort of Home link or anything.

if you plan on posting a lot more articles, you might want to start thinking about using categories or some other way of looking through content easier. if i'm looking for "Memorizing Your Music," i'd never know you had a post about that if you have 20-30 more posts ahead of it. but lets say you had a "Working with Sheet Music" category, i'd know what i want would be in there. time saved.

I really like the concept and the general color choices, but there are a few design touch-up that should be addressed.

Personally, I would cut back on the outer glows on all of your graphics/text. They can become very visually overwhelming. Also, your content area seems to be off slightly (in firefox). In my browser it seems as if it needs to bump to the right about 10px to line up with the left edge of the guitar's body.

Also, I'm not sure what the logo is trying to say. Because of the color breaks it reads gui ta ring - which to me makes no sense. Using one color across the entire word would make things more clear.

Worse then the validation links not working is the fact that your site isn't compliant, as it says it is.
