scrolling an iframe...
I am looking for an effect similar to the Styleboost 'search-submit-contact' section... But there is one difference...: I'd like a button outside an iframe to control (scroll) the content of the iframe! Another imopssible question from me or is there a solution? ...

yeah... kind of... thanks but the ideal solution would be if the content of the iframe moved an x amount of pixels [i:c20e1f038c]at a time[/i:c20e1f038c]... is that possible??? (as always, I didn't make myself clear) ...

Flash would be the simplest way to do something like this, otherwise you'll have to fanny about with dhtml: Why does the content have to move [i:637380eadb]x[/i:637380eadb] pixels for each click? |

well... me being a code spastic... after inspecting the code behind the styleboost scrollies - I figured out, that shifting x amount pixels is what I need - I need a snapping effect - just a 'loose' scroll will be a compromise. if you have a look at the mockup, you'll understand (I hope) http://www.i-ll-i.com/temp/emma01.jpg when you click on the arrows the content of the category (incl. the arrows nav) would scroll up/down revealing the next set. I think the styleboost way might be the best solution... even though it would be a miracle if I can pull it off codewise wish me luck ...
