address bar icons
how do you get an icon to appear in the address bar next to the http:// address? I know the stuff about putting favicon.ico in the root folder but this only seems to make the icon to appear in IE on the pc. any hints how to get it to appear in other browsers (particularly mac browsers)? ::: TC Magazine :::

Floating libation anyone?

I'm using IE 6+ and they almost always seem to work once...then disappear when I close all IE windows, open and surf again. IMHO, a waste of time. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

have you lot not yet learnt that ie is a cock? get over it. you'll find that a proper browser will display them, well, properly. most sites have them and they make your bookmarks look nice. oooooooh. Last edited by Brown : 15-03-2004 at 10:33. |
