what is this effect called?
hi there, i've been seeing this effect more lately and i was wondering what it's called so that i can try to learn how to do it. it's the screen that pops up without a browser window and it sort of fades in nicely. is that javascript? anyway, any info or links to tutorials are appreciated! here's an example of what i am talking about, when you click on one of the thumbnail images: Kari and Company: Website Design, Flash Elements, Logo and Graphic Editing and Design, Website Maintenance and Administrative Support thanks! |

If you want to create funky effects using Javascript, I'd suggest you also look into mootools or script.aculo.us. Lightbox, Slimbox and other clones use these pre-built freely available javascript libraries to handle most of the work. |

Works for me. I found this in the tutorials. "One of the most important oppositions that tend [sic] to define the origin and impact of a piece of art is the author's pursuit of self-expression versus the limitations imposed by the accepted canon." I very slowly worked out what that means and now I would like to know some other important oppositions, assuming opposition is the same as contrast. My free fonts www.utfi.net
