Gadget Website - Succesful or not?

Im thinking of starting up a website dedicated to gadgets. Not about buying them as there are so many, but a site that is about the gadgets. Do people think this will work and do you think people will visit it?

When I say gadgets I mean like

MP3 Players
Gaming Stuff
Mobile/Cell Phones
Cameras
etc

I dont mean site like I Want One Of Those. Gadgets, games, boys toys & gift ideas from Firebox.com etc

Im trying to think of a name for the site and so far all I can find that is available is www.gadetdepo.com It needs to be with hostgator as this is my host. If you find a name that is accepted by https://secure.hostgator.com/billing...derwiz.php?v=1 then can you list it here. I am really struggling with the url address but first need to see if this would be worth while setting up.

What do you think?

Not really even if i was into cameras and games, my way of looking wouldnt be like that, id probly go to school and ask, probly go to main pruduct makers sites like, Nokia for phones, microsoft/blizzard for games, apple for mp3s, other places like sony for games and stuff, i really dont think id use it but not sure.

I believe the best place to look for info on what you want, is the source itself

I know what you mean but having reviews on up-coming products. This is why magazines succeed as they inform the customer about products they probably havent heard of or havent been released yet.

You've got to consider a few things. How are you going to get your hands on gadgets before others if you intend to review them before people can get there hands on them. Also there are a couple of gadget sites around such as engadget which are already doing what you want to do.

Getting my hands on the products...we'll i possibly may be able to do this. I no it needs to be something unique. To get me started I will be reading around on the product and different reviews then giving my opinion on what I think are the good and band things. As soon as I have a build up of reviews etc then I will go about getting the products

What's going to differentiate this from Engadget or Gizmodo?

Well as most people know, the younger a person, the more of a nit picker they are. Im studying ICT at uni so I would know what im on about and I will allow users to submit their own reviews. Most large companies gets paid by say Apple so that they won't give the ipod a bad review, however im not going to do that, i will state how it really is.
If you can think of anything else, be sure to let me know

Well with a convincing argument like that, I don't see how you can fail.

Be sure to tip us well in advance when you go for IPO.
