Depends what you mean by copy, if its copy as in make identical and steal the layout and colour scheme etc, then you got another think comming.

If its to simply make another employment website, but using differnt layout and graphics then well thats not too bad.

I'd be delighted to help you rip off a very successful site. Having seen many posts like this prior, I'm sure you've a very low budget, which is fine. I personally would be MORE than happy to offer you my services within your low budget.

Does $49.99 USD sound fair? Seems mighty fine to me, after all you will be competing in a very competitive niche, and you'll need all the money you can spare for advertising the site! Besides, such low pay isn't really an issue what with all the business I'll get from the link from your stellar new site to my portfolio.

Oh, how my coffers will fill with wealth as the visitors come pouring in! You know, on second thought, you are offering me such a FANTASTIC opportunity and I'll be making so much off this work I'll be doing for you that you paying me doesn't seem fair. Let ME give YOU money instead, it only seems right, what with you being so generous and all.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the budget you must have for such a site. The design is the least important in this case. Think of the user admin sections, payment sections, project posting, working space, message boards. If it's similar as complexity - your hosting cost will be also higher than you might expect. Plus the promotional campaign will cost you some money. Why would someone choose you instead guru.com (or elance.com or so many other similar sites).

Most professionals on here can do a site like that, but unless you've got a proper budget, I doubt you'll get any serious replies.

If you're going to spam a forum, at least create a fictional username!

As per my experience
, people who spam forums with their website that try to come across as someone else - aren't usually worth a rub.

Timo the problem is not the design its the backend behind it. People need to update lots of data and that data needs to be automated onto the website. You need someone to develop a dynamic website, which uses a mysql database (preferably) and php/asp/jsp to add and update users/jobs/content and remove dated users/jobs/content as well as what was suggested - payment etc.
You should expect to pay at least $3000 us for a project like guru done at least half professionally (at the very least!!) then $20,000 us to advertise it properly.

I'll do it with pleasure. The minimum asking price would be US$500,000 although this may change subject to further negotiation. Since you are a new client, I would require a 30% deposit before commencement of work. If you would like to discuss contract arrangements, please feel free to get in touch with me.
