on this site i'm designing i'm have a simple, typed navigation menu on the left hand side as some form of sub menu. i'm wanting to know how do you make the list extended to show more options when a link is clicked on.

for example if i had a link named 'personnel' and you clicked on it it would then show two more options underneath it saying 'internal' and 'external'.

any help will be gratefully recieved thankyou.

You're new so you can be forgive this, but the search function is your friend, as is google. This question has been asked here a number of times, and its quite easy to solve. The suckerfish method (google it) can be modified to work onclick rather than onmouseover, and the methods above arent bad either.

yeah thanks for the help guys, i've tried google but the thing is i new what i was looking for, i just didn't know what it was called and ended up typing allsorts in and charging down blind alleys.
