Hello, I was really into web design about 4 years ago. ( When Iframes and table layouts were popular. ) So I'm pretty familiar with the html basics. Recently I've been wanting to get back into it and there's all these new trends like Xhtml, CSS, PHP, etc.

Although, one thing I have not stopped working on is my photoshop skills and I consider myself to be very adept in that program. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction to get familiar with all these new and different types of coding, or maybe I just need to start over entirely and learn the basic again.

I just would like to apply my photoshop skills with web design and I think I'd have a very good foundation for a hobby and possibly a career.

Well first these arent really a trend there a necessity. XHTML is an updated version HTML.
