Anyone here using Aptana?

Hey guys (and gals )

Just wondering if anyone here had picked up Aptana at all? Its based on eclipse, but seems to be optimised for building web apps, rather than being an IDE to suit all kinds of projects. I've always quite liked eclipse... And from what I have used so far (thought I would try it in place of DW code view for a change), it seems pretty good. Its CSS management still isnt as good as DWs - It doesnt suggest possible CSS classes etc for you, which can be handy on larger projects. Other than that its pretty cool.

Anyone else tried it? Thoughts? Opinions?

David

i just started using aptana a week ago and so far i love it. there are a few quarky parts to it, for instance i cant drag and drop files from my computer to apatana and have it automatically upload. Has anyone found an easy way to do this without having to search through your computer files through aptana? I'm also hoping they add some more support for php.

Personally I'm not a huge fan, but then I use PHPEclipse and DW - Aptana tries to do too much for its own good IMO.

I don't like the UI, especially on the Mac.

I just stick to TextMate.
