Site Critique please

The site will run slow if your VRAM is less than 128MB... but other than that.. what do you think?

Your typography lets you down - You obviously have the flash skills.

I'm not sure that Bauhaus styled font is an appropriate match for hip-hop - too much contrast? I think it cheapens the overall effect. The illis are very nice.

Agree with the above - I had to close you site for my mouse to perform normally in my open tabs (FF XP)

Cool graphics, very GTA. I think the style is great but maybe you should get rid of the cursor, it made me want to just click everywhere and spray paint the whole site. I would also make the menu icons larger when they are not hovered over as it can be hard to tell what they are.

Great site though.

Really? Spraying the background doesn't work for me. The site is really slow to load and can be quite jerky sometimes and its definately not my laptop as my laptop is pretty much maxed out. Also, if I open your site in tabs it makes my mouse flicker when i go back to other tabs until I close your site.

Took me a while to find the navigation - before you rollover its really really tiny at 1024x768 resolution and it's extremely small on any higher resolution. In my opinion, your nav is a usability issue regardless that the site is geared towards a target market where "usability" isn't necessarily a word they throw around every day.

Like Limbo said, your type doesn't seem to fit - it's seems totally opposite of the style the rest of the site is in.

Not a big fan of the cursor - it's ok, just makes things a bit cumbersome sometimes.

Speed of site - relying on someone to have 128mb of vram isn't always a good thing but nonetheless I suppose most people have that nowadays. Anyhow, I have a bunch of vram and high-speed connection and the site is still functioning a bit slow. I don't know how you've done all the flash, but try to work on speeding everything up a bit.

All the best!

I have 2ghz core 2 duo, 2gb RAM, 256MB Nvidia GO 7900 , one of the best graphic cards out there for a laptop so it shouldnt be to do with my laptop. Also, got 4mb broadband and flash is never usually a problem so Im guessing its either to do with the size of your graphics or your coding.

First off, I'm not sure why you quoted that part of my post - you didn't even comment on that... anyhow...

When you say "the office" who are you referring to? What type of office do you work in? Just trying to get an understanding of if it's a design studio or not.

Regardless, the type is weak - it just needs some work.

haha I was thinking that but thought I would leave it. You definately have to make the navigation icons bigger when they are not rolled over, they are so small.
