The text image Designer Dream is not transparent in IE6. I assume it should be.

hi swiecki! after a second look at it, i agree with you, i will change that right away.

Anything else?

Edit: Ok i fixed the footer, its a bit brighter now. I have yet to decide good link colors, but do you think i should ad some sort of border on the top of it? or somthing of the like.

The light green text is a bit low contrast. I like the striped bar at the top. The links on the footer are barely visible.

Good start!

Ok, ill set out to change those things, anything else?

Edit: I was thinking about adding like, a box around the content and everything, and slightly dark the outside parts, with a slight gradient or just a solid color. Should i do this? if so, which way? I do like it how it is right now, but its not as flashy as some of its competition so i kind of want to SPICE it up, ya know?

The text doesn't stand out enough against the border.

Also, about the links:

You might want to put a border around the links, or do something to kind of make them easily visible. Right now, they just kind of melt into the page, they aren't very visible.

Besides that, pretty nice!

Maybe use a darker font that matches your banner font color. Lighten the footer links to maybe white. Maybe make it so that the links attract more attention somehow. Mabye put and outline and a title for NAV or something.

I'd have to say your tagline of 'web design at its finest' is really over selling yourself, you're only just starting out like the rest of us and with a quite bland site like that I think you've got a bit to work on.

1) Its quite bare and a little boring.
2) The foter links are just there, but you wouldn't know that unless you really looked at them.
3) The hover on the nav links should all be the same width eg 200px.
4) I dont like the footer colour, its a bit pukey-ish.
5) The logo should be inside a whole header as now it looks bare and what are the numbers on the logo for??
6) The links on the articles page are not links.
7) Add a portfolio, you say on the homepage you can show work in your portfolio, et it is blank.
8) Never mention free work on a pricing page, then people will want you to do a free one all the time. Also the pricing page is more like "What we can do" page so maybe rename it?

These are all suggestions about the whole website. PLease dont hate me for it its wha he asked for.

Thanks.

So your saying i should say "web design at its average?" :\?? I darked the headers, and i experiemented a bit with the banner, but i decided i liked the old one. I made it so when you hover over the boxes for nav a lil' effect occurs. im having a hard time making the nav stand out more without it being ugly. I think ill try laying it out sideways?

EDIT: Just got your post rael rode, im about to fix the nav to what you said, and for the footer im having trouble finding a good color, its either to dark or to light! What color should i use? Thanks for your advice, i dont hate you for it

How should i go about making all the nav bar boxes the same size, besides adding spaces in there names?? Min width and width apperently dont work in a.nav:hover :\

Just use an image to hover over it. Image for the background and put text over it, simple. Thats how I do it anyway.

OK code should be..

Quote:
text goes here

And the navid part is the nav id, with either a lank image or just blank then add another class called navid:hover then ahve the image etc. You need to specify the file width and height too.

You need a hash (#) before the a.nav part.
