They got back to me, and surprisingly enough, yes you are. I still find your whole research excuse a bit flimsy though. Let me remind you again about professional ethics. It's standard practice when conducting any research, to inform the participants clearly and unequivocally about exactly what you are researching, what your purpose or hypothesis is, what your methodology is, and how any gathered data will be used. Your conduct has been evasive at best. None of us have any idea what you're supposed to be doing other than a vague "I was running an experiment on design and designers". This is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. Now let me remind you of the Code of Conduct for the Chartered Society of Designers. 3.0 PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1 Members shall conduct their business competently and act at all times with integrity and honesty. Pretty clear isn't it. So, since several people here were participants in your little study, please clearly and accurately inform us as to the nature of the study, with a detailed outline of what you are researching, for what purpose and how you went about doing this. You have a responsibility to do this WHETHER YOU USE THE DATA FROM PEOPLE HERE OR NOT. Last edited by Snowshiro : 24-05-2007 at 20:40. |

Researching into the responses from the errors made and design ideas used on the website. The results were to be translated into illustrations and key words. The illustration were to be formed from key words picked out at random. Please note: No user names or details will be listed, used or stored in any way outside of the website of it's source. Credit at the end of the work with the page numbers and illustrations listed was to be research results gathered from www.designerstalk.com and then the date. Only a percentage of feed was ever to be used. Considering the response before I ended it, there was not enough feedback anyway. Only 7 people responded.
