sort your grid out.

Your right columns should align + you have little quirks elsewhere that look a bit sloppy. Fair do's if it's just the comp.

cheers limbo, that will al be fixed in due course. really wondering about the background. think the client wants a sorta shadow effect but i'd rather the color (infact the client wanted a glitter effect for the bg! ... eh, no)

I find the blue bg too heavy.

Have you considered a sandstone texture bg?

i tied that, semed a bit to cheesy, also the client for some reason doen't want to go for that look. he'd rather funky, sleak, jazzy, etc

I prefer the second to the first.
A different coloured background would be nicer though, just not as dark as that blue.

What about the pink one here. Immitates the crystaline structures of stone yet still jazzy?

Perhaps colourise to suit?

tried those patterns

blue and brown

nice suggestions. not sure what to go for with more options so more opinions are welcome. i do like the lighter brown, give that stone feeling the only prob is i think the client will want something that doesn't represent the stone image

The brown is nice. Maybe change the image border to match it?

Yeah i like both too. I would try having a subtle gradient for the background. see how that goes . . .
