First, the intro page does not give you a clue to what the website is about. I think that you should automatically have it on the home page and have flags at the top or something.

Whats On, EMagazine, and Virtual Gallery should not be white on a white background.

You have too many navigation areas on the page.
You have the top one, the slide out one (with nice effects) and the ones over the pic of the building. Then it is at the bottom again. I think you should somehow incorporate all of the links into the slide out navigation somehow.

The logo SKETBE.COM is too low contrast, barely readable. And the lines separating the logo, newsletter signup, and the search/links should go all the way up the light gray bar instead of having a space below the lines. Then you should align the logo, newsletter signup, and the search/links in center vertically.

If you do want to keep the navigation at the bottom, you should not have the | after Contacts. And the bottom navigation should be center aligned.

And i think the input boxes for newsletter signup and search should not be shadowed inside. They should be flat, like the rest of your website.

Overall, I think it is a very nice start, just needs some tweaking.

EDIT: and I agree with combat sheep: The header part should be html not flash. The nav and the image scroller are fine the way they are.

Yes, I agree, it's a nice start. Personally I think the scrolling wheel is moving a little too fast, but maybe it's just my screen's refresh rate making it blurry. It should probably loop too. And it should slow down and stop when the pointer is in the middle, not the left. Other than that, promising.
