Can anyone help me i'm stuck. i have a list with each element having a background image. In firefox this works fine. in IE for some reason the list elements are receiving teh padding (which is giving me the height since they are display:inline elements.) I have a class called debug around the LI's to show that they are getting a different size then should be. Even on firefox they wrong, but Firefox seems to always be very forgiving. Can anyone see what i'm doing wrong?

fixed it...floating was the problem
