In Dream weaver it doesn't let me draw layers on top of layers.. do i have to change an option or something for it to allow me to do this?

Learn to lay out your page by hand, NOT in WYSIWYG mode. DW will make an ugly mess of absolutely positioned divs (NOT LAYERS) and hideous code.

look up z-index.

k i figured it out...i had to just check off the prevent overlaps option
