I'm making a bakery web site for someone and I'm in the process of figuring everything out. I stumbled across this picture (used by another site) and really like how they displayed the information. I was hoping you guys could help me think of alternate, creative ways to do a similar technique. Such as making buttons that will display layer or perhaps just using boxes instead of arrows.

Yes, of course photoshop but he asking 'how'. Everything is possible to
photoshop if you know you're way around, and there is always tuts out there
to help if you get lost.

I can create my own version in photoshop, but I don't want to rip off or copy this existing site. I was hoping you guys could help me think of other ways to employ a similar technique. The only thing that I could really think of was to put stars or a little circle and then have a hidden layer show itself on "mouseover". Thanks for all the help.

a cross section of the different layers of the cake?

something of that sort, or when you mouse over the words, the cross section appears
