Some nice photoshop work in there, but if you're aiming at being hired as a designer for the web solely, why no site of your own?

are you trying to say your site is spread across 5 domains?

If it's not live - then you don't really have a site.

If your looking for work don't worry about creating something over 5 sites, just make one really nice site up asap.

i'm not spreading one site across five domains, i'm currentely working in a partnership and we're setting up (at least) 5 websites. And yes i know i could get something up quickly but i dont really want to.

Then I would suggest holding off on trying to get website design contracts until you actually have a site up. It's pretty important.

I coded one of the designs...

http://www.zendurl.com/photosho/

anyway - it's not absolutely crucial to have a site for people to hire me!
If i show some of my work.. then it shouldnt matter.

Not 100% critical, but its a very daft thing for a web designer looking for work to not have a website of their own. There's no proof you can do anything outside of photoshop otherwise...

I like your photoshop layouts, thay have the look of 2.0 style. But I think that you should make a nice personal portfolio, for that any future client see your works.

You see, this is why you needed to have a website, so that we could see just how badly you code up your designs. Based on this: http://www.zendurl.com/photosho/ I can see you have a lot to learn.

I think the designs are pretty much standard cop nowadays. Its a good enough starting point dude so keep on working., And get yourself a website if you have serious intentions of getting work. Also all I can see from the pics is you can do pictures in photoshop. Would like to see if you can put all those faded sections etc into a proper XHTML/CSS coded layout etc.

Due to the fact it seems they are not for real projects they also look really sparse of content etc.

It looks like you're using a lot of fancy (as in not web safe) fonts, namely Myriad Pro, among others that I am not as familiar with.

Just a tip - these kinds of fonts can be difficult to implement, and should be limited to headers/navs and used as sparingly as possible, if used at all, because otherwise you have to use a lot images (too much to download quickly, waste of bytes) or some SiFR-type replacement with flash, which work, but IMHO aren't terribly reliable or smooth.

nowhere in this thread do I see a scrap of code. I'm with asariyski and the other guys. Unless you can show a site you have coded, not static images, who is going to hire you?

You have a couple of impressive works among those jpeg mockups.
But I am surprised as much as others here about how you have put it. These mockups reveal your graphics design capabilities. Is this the job you're looking for? It is not clear at all what you wish to be hired as.

So moving on, I want to hire you as a graphics designer (yet not more than that). What's next? Do you expect me to give you an offer via this forum? No credible contact information is presented, no link to even a resume page. It is sometimes ok not to have a portfolio, but it is never ok not to have a resume. Also, suppose I only work with those freelancers who I can meet in person - and how can I have any idea about your geographic state?

Would you hire me based just on a couple of anonymous screenshots? There are numerous issues to consider when selecting people to work with. Create a new post and formally describe your areas of experience. Clearly state the scope of work you wish to get paid for. Dont admit to "reckon that your credibility is in doubt", but instead prove your credibility to us. Whatever reasons constrain you from setting up a representative website, at least create a very basic resume page. If not that, at least leave your full name. Unless in fact you do not wish to be taken serouisly...

You are graphically creative, now let yourself be "self-marketing" creative.

Regards.

Most of these designs - even when zoomed in - are half the page width. You need to get your website up but seeing the link you posted to the design you coded yyou've got osme work to do. But I agree with nkulmati - I wouldn't hire you because all i know is a screenname and its not enough.

BTW - This is a designers forums. Don't you think if anyone on here wanted a website, they' do it themselves????
