REALLY stupid question
[i:0d250baac4]really[/i:0d250baac4] stupid question: anyone knows if it is possible to get text to be filled in with an image instead of a colour in html? or shall I wait a couple of years with asking this question? (I didn't anyway) forgive ok? i'm a designer... ...

Yeah you just use the img tags 'on' attribute giving it a value of 'text'. Used in conjuction with the 'not' attribute with values like 'serious', 'possible' or 'on your nelly' you can create some interesting effects. hth Jamie  That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. Have you tried coding in html? The browser manufacturers have enough trouble just agreeing on where a <div> should go or how wide it should be without worrying about stuff like you're suggesting. I think you're in for a long wait... |

JUST DO IT IN FLASH :)
Who cares about crummy html.  ITS OLD ( still usefull, but not the only option anymore ). Well im sure u can do it other ways ill look around. In flash its doable just requires a bit of work. You can also use the photo gathering technic ( that is if u just using random text ) make loads of jpgs with words and use an assembly program to gather them all and make the desired picture, that would be a scary loading on html tou. ill keep looking |
