Shopping
I've designed a website for someone is Flash and they now say they would like to add a Merchandise page. What's the best way to do this if you want people to be able to pay by card? is it even possible to incorporate that kind of thing in to flash? cheers in advance ::: TC Magazine :::

I've heard people mention osCommerce before. Is this the people they meant? http://www.oscommerce.com/ would people recommend using this. I understand now that it's best to have a link within your Flash site to an online shop which is not within Flash ::: TC Magazine :::

another alternative to doing that is to set up an eShop with One&One http://oneandone.co.uk/xml/static/es...a?__frame=_top has anyone tried this. what are the drawbacks? ::: TC Magazine :::

What about store.yahoo.com?
Quote:
Well, I don't know if it really helps... What about store.yahoo.com? They have a lot of merchant solutions, even the strater ones. There are a lot of companies who would help you with your store and make it the best one But this is supposed to be a separate store. |

hmmm yeah. checked that out. thanks for the suggestion, but i need to find something for minimal cost. in fact, free would be better. and i didn't really like the way that the shops who had used Yahoo mechant thing ended up with the yahoo logo in their browser address bar. i'll keep on looking but thanks again ::: TC Magazine :::
