e-commerce site, how much?
Hi guys, I will be making a site for this client that would involve payment online, member registration, ability for members to upload stuff on the site and have their own configurable member's page, feature for an administrator to control everthing on the site, use of databases. Basically lots of PHP coding and databse setup. Good news is I already have an idea and know how to make it. The big question is, how much should I charge the client? I haven't charge anyone with a big project like this, any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

Which payment processor are you integrating? Will it be a full integration or simple integration? What is the storefront like? Category based or is it a simple page of a few items? On a minimum if you are doing a simple paypal integration with a few products and a simple shopping cart we have a intro package around $2500 U.S. (rough est.) but as things get more complex and you get into advanced / seamless integration and advanced shopping carts then you move up to the $10k - $15k+ mark. |

It's going to be a simple paypal integration, the only thing that will take much time would be the other stuff Ive mentioned (administration, user-configurable member pages, etc.). But I guess I'll go for the charge near your intro package (or maybe a bit more), thats the figure I have in mind anyway. This is my first big project so I guess I won't charge that much for now. Thanks! |
