Sites that align all content to the left are curious to me. Why do that? Running 1600 res, half the right-side of my browser's viewable area is all bg. There may be a top aligned title bar that runs the whole width, but that don't help. It's so much more natural for the eye to go to the middle of the monitor. I think it's quickly becoming a thing of the past, but why are so many sites' content anchored on the left? Rarely to the right, but I've seen that, too. A Few Examples: http://arvest.com/banking/ http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp http://www.creativelatitude.com/index.html |

I also prefer a centered site. |

I rarely see left aligned sites these days. I guess at one point nobody had monitors large enough to make it worth the designers while centering the page. Easier just to left align everything so you don't have to negate the center comand for all the rest of the content right after you've just applied it. |
