Why don't browsers support EPS?

EPS? PDF? TIF?

None have native support without 3rd party like acrobat.

Why?

are they a bit fick or what?

You could equally ask why they don't natively play video. Answer - because they're web browsers.

Cam - thats all well and good - but if the browser developers pulled their head out of their arses and saw the possibilities of giving us vector support for EPS (screw MS's svg ideas) then cross media designers would be laughing
