Piracy?

Altered the role of a graphic designer since when? since the use of computers by designers, or since p2p networks became popular? Not sure what you are after.

As far as I can see software piracy has gone hand-in-hand with student designers since the software was invented. pirate copy of photoshop 2 on 6 floppy disks anyone?

software piracy helps spread the product, which in turn enables people to learn how to use it, which helps them to become confident in its use, which leads to employment, whereby the software is purchased ... then copied ... and round it goes ...
