form tags - newtscrape

ok, its a netscape 4.7 issue.

form tags add a gap to the top and bottom. any way to avoid this whilst still making a valid form?

you can put the form tags outside of the tables but that won't validate.

any ideas?

ta.

hmmm - bit difficult as i havn't got netscope 4

try include the form element as a page.inc

get rid of everything in page.inc (no title, dtd, etc)

and include it - has worked for me in the past

when Ive coded for NN4 I've used the basic of basic stylesheet. Basically it's just about a text only version. It's all they're worth.

those filthy dogs.

If you absolutely must account for NN4 is there no way you can tweak the surrounding layout to accomodate the margins?

Do the margins really have that bad an effect on the layout?
Any chance we can see the prototype?
