Here is some real constructive critic.

Like they mention your design is old school, this is the new era of design. So something more eye catching and the use of modern typography is very important. This work reminds me of my freshman year instructor.

But yeah, first design. They splash/enter page is ok but once you enter it you have big buttons and looks a bit boring. Try making them smaller and adding some fill in with a basic low opacity drop shadow, for starters. Also why is your logo aka: header at the bottom? It should be somewhere visable for the user when he/she clicks your site which is commonly used at the top area.

Second design, first things first the logo or what appears to be more of a image/object at the top left is resize a big NO NO. Never force images to be resize, if you want an image to be slightly smaller use your image editing software to scale it. Loading time will be consume if you force images to be resize.

Also in your frames you have a bright background, ditch that and make it lighter and change the text to a darker color. That way is easier to read and friendly on the eyes.

I think overall the main thing you need to work out is composition and balancing your design.

Keep at it.

I agree with everyone on this and am greatful that there is some one like 'Zenko' giving you some extra advice because it will save myself from typing it all out.

Keep at it but do not expect much for your work so far.
