Anyone use favicons on a site that dissapear and reappear at random; DT for instance has one but some times doesnt show up in my favourites.

hmm, i've noticed that. the dt one has dissapeared from my favourites list about 4 days ago. i like them, especially in your bookmarks list - makes sites stand out.

is it maybe to do with the fact that they're all called the same file name - cacheing - get overwritten by another sites favicon.ico

Afaik - IE doesn't keep them long. They'll show while they're in your cache.

also, you just place them in the site root so whats this code all about ::

Some/all (I don't know) browsers need that to know where to find them.

i think its something to do with server set up. some servers just throw it out but if it doesn't then you have to force it using the code above. i think.

oooh. server or browser? probably browser. i know it was an ie thing initially. never noticed them in any other browser.

Anyone watch the programme on BBC3 last night about peoples perception of beauty?

There was a girl with size G boobs. She had a breast reduction op to get down to a managable DD.

About 2 and a half lbs were removed.

Boyfriend apparently loved big boobs but washappy aslong as she was...basically he was gutted.
